I received a thick reply letter of Macao Governor office at last on Sep.1,1999. this is later on 5 months after I issue the postcard for asking autograph. But I still be as luck as that postcard to President Sampiao, because that postcard has been disappear forever.

There is not any stamp on the reply letter, there is a "PORTE PAGO MACAU" postmark ( postage paid ). I opened the envelop, except for the autographed postcard by Rocha Vieira, there also are 2 latter papers signed by secretary-general Bandeira of Governor office, one is Portuguese , other one is Chinese, and also enclosed a book " Maoco brief introduction" in the envelop. That book was edited by News Department of Macao Government (Third print). Total is 88 pages. It introduced the geography, history, system of government, economy, tourism,, religion, culture and social welfare and so on. There is a chapter named " the transition period". It is objectives by and large. There are some precious historic photos in the book. But in that chapter about Macao's history, its writing is rather obscure. It only reflects a historic point of view of Portuguese side. Even though like that, it still have a certain reference value for all-sidedly study Macao.
