In order to choose suitable stamp, I have to spend many time for studying these stamps and Albania's history. Albania ever times suffered different race invade in history. Turkey ever intrude Albania from 15th century and ruled more 400 years. Albania's national hero Skanderbeg ever led demos for struggle that is 25 years long with invader. After tenacious fight in advance wave upon wave for a few centuries, The colonial rule was smashed at last. Albania declares independence on Nov.28,1912. China issued a set commemorative postage stamp "C96" ( See eng2-017-1 ) for commemorating its 50 anniversary. I think the set stamp is more suitable for the postcard asking autograph of President Medani. Although social system of countries is different, but the stamp can link up a common thinking for guarding the peace and opposing oppression, express a common language for defending national dominion and independence. It is a good medium of culture and art.　　　

After a spell busy, I sent the postcard on Dec.18,1999. At last. Its content is:

"Respected President Rexhep Meidani, Excuse me boldly write to you and I can't use the Albanian. I am a Chinese retired employee of Sinopec Jinling petrochem corp. in Nanjing China, as well as a philatelist for many years. You paid an important visit to China on Dec.12, your visit brought about Albanian people's friendship to Chinese people. The diplomatic relations between China and Albania have established for 50 years. Although tremendous changes has taken place in the international situation, but the friendship between peoples of both countries is eternal. Numerous ordinary Chinese sincerely hope the Kosovo's region is peaceful and stable, wish Albania prosperity and her people happiness. In order to remember this important visit in a philatelic form, so that to leave a precious historic information, I earnest hope you could autograph this postcard (verso) stuck stamp 50th anniversary for Albania's independence ( issued in 1962 by China ) at your leisure inside of busy affairs of state and mail it back to me. I added a scanner in my PC at the end of 1999 year. ( The price of a scanner has started degression in a large of extent. The price of one scanner is about less 1000 yuan RMB ( about 120 USD). Although my income only is the retired wages, but I also decide to buy it. It is very luck, I received reply letter and the postcard autographed by president Meidani from Albanian Presidential palace on Jan.17,2000 ( See below )
