1. About Macao and JP10 commemorative stamped card. The total area of Macao is 17.5 square kilometer. Population is about 350 thousands. Macao is Chinese territory from of old. It was gradually occupied by Portugal since 16 century. China and Portugal signed " A joint declaration on Macao" on Apr.13,1987, declare P.R. China will recover to perform dominion in Macao on Dec.20,1999. In order to commemorate this important event, China post issued JP-10 commemorative stamped postcard,2 pieces for 1 set. Issued quantity is 600 thousands sets, face value is 94 cents ( 0.94 yuan RMB). The card is year after year upvaluation, tiptop reached 230 yuan RMB ( about is 30 USD) n 1997, later fall after rise to 60 yuan RMB.

2. A bout "Macaomiao". The "Macaomiao" was build in 1448 ( MING dynasty). It located in Southeast of Macao. There is the Queen of heaven is consecrated in the "Macaomiao", It is a convoy Nereus of mental view of fisherman and voyagers. The burning incense is continuation and ceaseless. It is said that Portuguese arrival "Aomen" in those years, they ask dweller the denomination in the locality. The dweller misconstrue and think that they ask the "Macaomiao" so answer it is "Maoco". Portuguese translate into "Macau"( Portugal language). Thus It become the place name of "Macao".

3. About Rocha Vierera . He is Portuguese 127th and 128 th Governor in Macao, also is last Governor. Portuguese independent figure. He is a General on active duty. He lives through his infancy in Africa following his parents. He returned Lisboa at teenager years old and attends school in a military institute. He ever taken up the post of the vice dean of Portuguese national defence institute, a delegate in "North Atlantic Treaty organization", a chief of the general staff of Portuguese three armed services.... He ever taken up the post of a chief of staff of Macao region and a head of a department of Macao government in 1973-1975. He taken up the post of 127th and 128th Governor of Macao since 1991. He ever time after time visited China and made important contribution for smooth transition of handover and takeover of Macao power. He said in a epigraph for a Chinese magazine " The world knowledge": " I can't help deep missing for Macao in the transitive period is about to finish " (See eng2-014-3)

As a philatelist, I have been attentive for seeking a suitable chance. On Mar.19,1999 Portugal President Jerge Sampaio visited Macao and held a meeting with China vice premier Qian Qishen on questions of calm transition and hand over and take over of political power of Macao. Macao governor attended the meeting. After meeting, President Sampaio published a speech,he said:" Ensuring the smooth transition of Macao is a common goal for Portugal and China and one which both countries should feel proud of, and it will made the relations of countries further strengthen". Thus declared Portugal enlightened and collaborating position about Macao problem. Especially that final governor Rocha Vieira is a friendly personage who give play to positive action in return process. Therefore I produced a idea for ask their autograph.

On Apr.13,1987, China and Portugal signed " A joint declaration on Macao". China post issued JP-10 commemorative stamped postcard. The Apr.13,1987 is 12th anniversary of published this declaration, also is last one commemorating day before Macao return. I decide to use this opportunity for ask autograph of President Sampaio and Governor Rocha Vieira　(Since it is hand over and take over of power, except a exultation heart of China one side, it is necessary to explore and record the superstratum personage heart of other side of hand over of power). First should seek that JP-10 postcard. Because its issued date is very early, so it is more difficulty. Just as well, I sought them in my collect.( 2 pieces for 1 set, just every person with 1 piece). Then is stamp, I chosen a " Macaumiao" stamp( 1997-20,4-1 ). Its picture is same with the postcard, so this postcard could be considered a " Special maxim card ". I sent 2 postcards on time on Apr.13,2000 to President Sampaio and Governor Rocha Vieira. Below is a JP10(2-1) postcard for Rocha Vieirs, Other postcard JP10(2-2) is to President Sampaio, because original postcard don't be returned, so don't be published here.

I am a Chinese retired employee of Sinopec Jinling petrochem corp. in Nanjing, as well as a philatelist for many years. Today ( Apr.13) is 12th anniversary of Sino-Portuguese joint declaration on Macao officially signed. Macao will complete handover of power on Dec 20 this year.
